How to Apply False Lashes

Step 1 

Size the lashes. Before gluing the lashes on, you will need to make sure that they are not too wide for your eye. Hold the lash strips up against your eyelid, and trim them down on the sides if necessary.

Step 2

Place the strip on your eyelid, positioning it as close as possible to your natural lashes. Bring the strip down from above rather than coming in from the front to ensure that you get as close as possible to your lashline

Step 4
Allow the glue to dry naturally. Once the strip is in place, let go and allow the glue to dry on its own; you do not need to press on it or hold it down for long. 

Step 5
 Apply mascara to your lashes. This will help blend your natural lashes with the false ones, achieving a more natural look. You can use black, brown, or dark gray mascara.

Step 6
Apply liquid eyeliner along your upper lids. Be sure to fill in any gaps between the false lashes and your own to make them look more natural. Use black, brown, or dark gray liner.

 Step 7
Use makeup remover to remove false lashes. Dip a q-tip in eye makeup remover and gently rub it along your lash line. Allow the remover to sit for a minute or so, and then gently pull off the strip.

THINGS YOU NEED

• Tweezers
• Individual false lashes 
• Lash glue 
• Liquid eyeliner 
• Liner Brush 
• Mascara 

TIPS

• It also helps to put glue on lashes for at least 15 seconds before you put it on.
• Apply false lashes in a well-lit area.
• Remove false lashes before sleeping to avoid eye irritation.
• Individual lashes are applied in the same way as strips of lashes. When applying them, start in the outer corner and work your way in.
• Apply a little bit of mascara after the glue is dry. This will make it look more real!
• Remove them with water on cotton pads. It is the quickest, easiest and cheapest way.
• Be sure to properly clean and store the false lashes if you plan on using them again. To clean the false lashes, use a q-tip and eye makeup remover to clean off any remaining adhesive, eyeliner, or mascara.
• Store lashes in the case they came in.

WARNING

• If you get glue or makeup in your eye, immediately rinse it out with warm water.
• Be sure to wash your hands before applying false lashes or other eye makeup.
• Do not share false eyelashes or eye makeup of any kind with other people, as this can spread germs from one eye to the other.
